iMarket Website Platforms: MODx (iMarket CMS)
MODx is a free, open source content management system. MODx was chosen as the main website platform due to its combination of flexibility and usability. This flexibility allows iMarket Programmers and Developers to extend the system by adding new functionality and integrating it with other iMarket systems. However, it also includes an easy to use content manager for staff users or clients to edit and publish content without the use of code.
iMarket uses a customized version of MODx called the iMarket CMS. The iMarket CMS has built-in features available for every site upon its initial build (see the Website Components and Modules sections for more information on these features).
