How Do iMarket Websites Support the Email Marketing Product?

Collecting Email Newsletter Subscribers

Email addresses for a client’s email marketing campaign are collected through their iMarket website through two sign up options:

  • Form Checkbox: By default, all contact form pages (with the exclusion of the Careers form page) display a checkbox at the end of the form for the visitor to sign up to the client’s email newsletter. This field may be turned off at the request of the client.
  • Newsletter Signup Block: Most sites are designed with a newsletter signup block that displays on the subpages and homepage to collect email subscriptions.

MailChimp Integration

iMarket sites include a MailChimp API: This enables newsletter signups that come through the website to be added directly to the client’s MailChimp account and assigned to the appropriate list for the email marketing campaign. A Constant Contact API integration is also available for clients who don’t use our Email Marketing service, but wish to collect emails for their own campaigns through Constant Contact.

Email Marketing Link Destinations

Email marketing campaigns often contain links to drive traffic to the client’s website. Depending upon the content of the email, the link may direct to the blog, homepage, a service page, contact page, or promotions.

Lead Tracking

Email Marketing Reporting looks at both telephone conversations and form submissions to determine the cost per lead from the Email Marketing product for each client.

  • Telephone Tracking: iMarket sites support telephone tracking, and can track when phone calls came from an email marketing campaign.
  • Contact Form Tracking: iMarket’s contact form submissions track the visitor’s original point of entry, so we can determine if the user landed on the site from an email marketing campaign.
